PA-AWWA Members…Join our Keystone Kloggers team in the AWWA WE Walk!…Help Support the One AWWA Operator Scholarship and YP and Student Programs

Dear Friends of Water in PA,

We invite you to join our Keystone Kloggers team in the AWWA WE Walk! We Walk is a Water Equation fundraiser that runs from April 1 through May 28 that benefits YP/Student leadership programs and water operator scholarships. Aside from raising money supporting the water industry, it’s a great excuse to get outside and exercise!

Of the $33,000 raised last year through this event, $20,0000 was awarded to water and wastewater operators for their continued education. As we face a water workforce crisis, these funds become even more essential to reaching entry-level students to join the water community. The One AWWA Operator Scholarship program is a partnership between Water Equation and the AWWA Sections to encourage water operators to continue their education through training, courses and conferences.

Funds also support the annual YP Leader Training and YP Summit that benefits our emerging leaders with presentations and discussions that connect them to each other and to our water sector. 100% of your gifts through WE Walk! fund this exciting and necessary program that will be hosted by AWWA in 2023.
